Training Waiver, Informed Consent, Assumption of Risk, Liability Release Agreement.
Our prevailing safety philosophy from which we will operate: All guns are loaded regardless of what we think to be true! Therefore because all guns are considered to be loaded regardless of what we think to be true, we will always:

1. Point guns in a safe direction MUZZLE DISCIPLINE
2. Keep finger off the trigger until ready to shoot FINGER DISCIPLINE
3. Keep guns unloaded until ready to shoot.

We will also
know our target and what is beyond
know how to operate the gun safely
be sure the gun is safe to operate
use the correct ammunition for the gun
wear eye and ear protection
never use alcohol, medicines or other mental or physical impairing substances before or during gun handling
store guns to be inaccessible to unauthorized persons
use common sense and add to these rules to keep yourself and others safe

Premises or property are any lands, buildings, or facilities used for the participation in any class, course, free style instruction, or range time.
This notice serves as an acknowledgment that upon registration or participation of any class, course, free style instruction or range time given by Warren W Abbott, his assistants and agents, or sanctioned by him, or my mere presence on or about the range at anytime, that I have voluntarily elected to participate in a program dealing with self-defense or firearms activities that I understand are inherently dangerous. I acknowledge the fact that I have received instruction on safety and will comply with any and all rules, regulations and directions, either written OR oral, that are posted in the facility shed or that I receive from the instructor and/or his or her designated agents.

I hereby certify and attest that upon the commencement of the training session, class, course, free style instruction or range time, I am a legal citizen of the United States of America and I will not be under the influence of alcohol or any substance, including but not limited too, illegal, legal, prescription or over the counter that affects my judgment. I understand that Warren W Abbott and/or his or her designated agents have full authority to prevent or remove me from any session, and or the premises, should they suspect that I am not in full control of my
faculties for any other reason, with no regard for refund or compensation of any kind.

The registrant, their parents and or legal guardians do hereby forever release, acquit and discharge the instructors, officers, shareholders, employees, land owners, companies, legal entities and agents from any and all cause or cause of action, costs, charges, claims, demands, and liabilities of whatever kind, name, or nature in any manner arising from my mere presence on the property, the participation in any training, course, class, free style instruction, or range time.

This release is intended to cover all accidents or injuries of every name, nature, or type, if any, which may be sustained or suffered from any cause whatsoever connected with, or arising out of, or by reason of my presence on the property, participation in any training, course, class, free style instruction or range time.

CAUTION: DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS, ARMED, OR UNARMED SELF DEFENSE TRAINING IS HAZARDOUS AND INJURIES OR DEATH MAY OCCUR. ALL OF THE REGISTRANTS, THEIR PARENTS AND OR LEGAL GUARDIANS, DO FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT NO PARTICIPANT IN A TRAINING, COURSE, CLASS, FREE STYLE INSTRUCTION, RANGE TIME OR PERSONAL PRESCIENCE ON THE PROPERTY WILL BE COVERED BY ANY TYPE OF ACCIDENT, INJURY, OR MEDICAL LIABILITY INSURANCE WHILE PRESENT OR USING THE FACILITY. THE INSTRUCTORS WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY INJURY OF ANY NATURE. THIS IS A LEGAL, BINDING CONTRACT AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY FOR ACCIDENT, INJURY AND OR DEATH. YOUR SIGNATURE BINDS YOU TO ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN AND TO ALL OF THE STATED RULES AND REGULATIONS.

I do not have any physical injuries or restrictions that would limit or prevent my presence on the property or me from participation in any training, course, class, free style instruction or range time and I will inform the instructors upon arrival to the facility or training venue of any change or injury regardless of nature or occurrence

Due to the latest influx of training availability in the United States, and the increase of Foreign Nationals traveling to the United States to offer and/or receive training, Warren W Abbott has formed the following policy:
All trainers employed by Warren W Abbott, are certified in their various disciplines and must meet strict requirements of Warren W Abbott. Instructors or other service providers who work in association with Warren W Abbott, are deemed citizens of the United States as described in Title 8, Chapter 12, Subchapter III, Part I, Sections 1401-1407 of the U. S. Code: “Nationals and citizens of United States at birth” and the Constitution of the United States, 14th Amendment, Section 1.
As such, Warren W Abbott will not hire, contract, or otherwise provide services to or training for any person who fails to meet the criteria stated above for any reason unless it is deemed to be legitimate and lawful under the laws of the United States of America and the laws in the state wherein the training site is located. Furthermore, Warren W Abbott will not provide services of any type to those who would not be considered either lawful Citizens or lawful visitors of the United States of America with certain allowable waivers. Warren W Abbott encourages those persons seeking training to ensure that any firm providing training is following these same directives and guidelines regarding its own employees as well as employees of outside providers it has contracted to do training.

Note any holster that utilizes the index or trigger finger of the shooting hand to disengage a locking device to release the handgun is now disallowed from use on the premises and in any training, course, class, free style instruction or range time.

Check list some of the things to bring
Valid NYS picture ID, including a valid pistol permit if required
Ear protection (mandatory)
Eye protection (mandatory)
Ammunition for your firearm 25 to 200 rounds unless provided, example Prepermit
Notebook and pen
Loose fitting pants with belt loops, NO Sweat Pants or the like please
No low cut tops for women (prevent hot shell casings from getting inside clothing)
Hat with brim (prevent hot shell casings behind glasses)
Firearm as per expected training, unloaded and cased, no ammunition in the case!
related gear, holster, 2 magazines, 3 or 4 is better
Dress for the weather, possible muddy range
Bug repellent and sunscreen in season
Lunch, drinks, quiet snacks when appropriate, note wash hands or do not directly touch food with lead contaminated hands
